Before he created Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney drew cartoons of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit for Universal Pictures and Charles Mintz.
And while Mickey (and friends) went onto bigger, better and a more lucrative future, poor Oswald wasn’t quite so lucky.
This was the first of these films which was released to theatres.
