Has anyone seen this mysterious clip of a so-called ‘time traveller’ in one of Charlile Chaplin’s early films?
To date there’s been no rational explanation – and it appears not to be a hoax.
As you will see – the clip featues an elderly woman who appears to be holding or speaking into a cell phone.
Film experts and sceptics alike have put forward theories ranging from a practical joke by far sighted producers and directors to elaborate tampering of the clip.
Having never seen the original movie – The Circus – I can nether confirm nor deny the latter claim – so I will leave the speculation up to you.
