I love Scrabble and Upwords which is a similar concept. I played Electronic Monopoly awile back where you use ‘credit cards’ in an EFT type machine, my how times change. It was fun but very hard for the banker to keep pace.

The one game I hate with a passion is Pictionary. I just can’t think fast enough for that one.

Nat!

The good Dr was a Monopoly freak as a kid . . . and have to brag that to date – haven’t lost a game – so I guess I should hook up with your family – mind you, there could be blood spilt.

That said – it really is a roll of the dice when it comes to doing well isn’t it . . . ?

Risk? I’ll have to do a search for that one.

I also really enjoyed Masterpiece and Cluedo as a kid – but had to go round to a mates place – cause he had all the good stuff.

Oh for rainy days and childhood memories sometimes huh

I HATE Monopoly. The reason is that I am sort of a weenie,and when my family plays Monopoly, they play for BLOOD! It is a very serious game with my peeps. I would intentionally lose, just to get out of the game. These Monopoly sessions would go on into the wee hours, and usually led to a fight. I like Scrabble, though!

My favorite board game (this is going to firmly cement my reputation as a big time nerd) is Risk. I am constantly on the prowl for someone to play this game with me. I rarely succeed in finding anyone willing to play, but when I do….hours and hours of geeky world dominating fun!
